Bassam is the founder and CEO of Excelsa Development Holding, an investment holding company.
Prior to Excelsa, he led the growth and development of Credit Suisse in the MENA region over six years as Co-CEO of Middle East & North Africa and head of investment banking.
Bassam holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, an MS in Computer Science and a BA in Business from Loyola Marymount University. He is on the board of Kulluna Irada, a Lebanese civic organization for political reform and he is the founder of the Bassam and Ghida Yammine Foundation.
Ghia is a researcher and policy consultant with over 10 years of experience in development, having worked with a number of international organizations and NGOs in Beirut and in New York. Her research focuses on graduate labor market outcomes, education and skills mismatch.
Ghia has a PhD in Education from the University of Oxford, an MIA from Columbia University and a BA from the American University of Beirut.
She is a founder of Bedayati, an NGO that aims to empower marginalized youth, advocating an inclusive world of work.
Fadi is a Partner at Strategy& (Formerly Booz & Company) in Beirut, working on the Public Sector practice. Over the last 12 years, he has worked with a number of government ministries and agencies in the Middle East, on strategic planning, operating model design, and large-scale transformation programs.
His focus is primarily on social services and human capital development. Fadi has led numerous pro-bono consulting projects for NGOs in Lebanon and the region, in various fields including education, healthcare, and social protection.
In 2014, Fadi founded Qudurat, to work with professionals and students willing to volunteer their skills to help NGOs build their core capabilities.
Khalil is a partner with Excelsa, an investment holding and asset management firm.
Prior to joining Excelsa, Khalil was the founder of an Africa-focused development consultancy.
Khalil is a graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
Belinda Rathle – Executive Director
Belinda is responsible for the development and management of Qudurat’s programs. She manages the day-to-day activities of the organization, such as overseeing the implementation of its Small Grants and Accelerator Program, developing capacity-building action plans, coordinating training programs and liaising with various stakeholders including partners, NGOs and institutional donors.
She has worked with local NGOs and international organizations in Lebanon, involved in international cooperation and development with over five years of experience in designing and developing projects.
Belinda holds a Master’s Degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies- University of London.
